At SceneCraft, we take data privacy and security seriously. Our platform is designed for educators and students, and we are committed to protecting personal information while providing safe, effective, and engaging learning experiences.

We collect only the information necessary to operate and improve SceneCraft:
Educator Accounts: Name, email address, and school affiliation (used for login, support, and account management).
Student Use: Students are not required to create personal accounts. When students interact with a SceneCraft experience, no personally identifiable information (PII) is collected.
Usage Data: Information such as browser type, device, and activity within the platform is used to improve performance and functionality.
How We Use Data
Data is used only for educational and operational purposes:
Supporting teacher use of SceneCraft
Improving platform features and learning experiences
Ensuring security and preventing misuse
We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.
Data Protection
We use industry-standard security practices to protect all data, including encryption in transit and at rest. Access to data is limited to authorized personnel supporting the platform.
Compliance
SceneCraft complies with applicable privacy regulations, including:
FERPA (Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act)
COPPA (Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act)
GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation, for EU users)
Your Control
Educators may request deletion of their accounts and associated data at any time. Districts and schools maintain control over any student-related data connected to their use of SceneCraft.
