Riley's AI Adventure Lesson Plan

In this 45-60 minute lesson, middle school students engage with a web-based animated story created with SceneCraft that explores the complex arguments of using AI in education. Students explore both its transformational potential and risks of its use.

The lesson is in three parts:
Introduction : Students connect the lesson topic to what they already know and how they have already encountered AI in their life.
Interactive Story : Students play through an interactive story that was created using Generative AI. Through the story, students encounter different ideas and perspectives on using AI.
Reflection and Discussion : Students discuss the arguments presented in the story and dive deeper into one perspective
